“You’ve lain in bed at 2 a.m., the blue light burning your eyes as you Google ‘how to last longer’ while your partner sleeps three feet away.”
That line is from my book. I wrote it because I’ve heard it so many times. Different words, different people, same feeling underneath.
In 15 years of sex therapy, premature ejaculation (or what I prefer to call early ejaculation) has come up constantly. And almost every time, the person sitting across from me says some version of the same thing: I thought I was the only one.
You are not the only one.
Early ejaculation is one of the most common male sexual concerns there is. And only 9% of men who experience it have ever talked to a doctor about it. Not because it isn’t affecting them. Because the shame is louder than the problem.
Here’s the truth nobody tells you: early ejaculation isn’t a dysfunction. It’s a pattern. And patterns can change.
The problem is that most of what’s out there treats your body like it’s broken. Like the goal is control. Like if you could just force yourself to comply, you’d be fine.
That’s not really how this works. Control isn’t the goal. Choice is. And those two things are genuinely not the same.
I wrote Coming Soon: The Unshaming Guide to Early Ejaculation and Lasting Longer because I kept seeing people come in having tried everything and still feeling like failures. Not because they hadn’t tried hard enough, but because nobody had helped them understand what was actually going on in their bodies first.
Most books give you techniques. This one gives you a map.
A framework for understanding what your body is doing and why, before you try to change anything. Because the people who skip straight to the exercises without doing the understanding part? Short-term results, if that. The ones who do the deeper work don’t just last longer. They relate to themselves differently. That’s really what this is about.
“You’ve been measuring yourself against a metric that doesn’t even predict satisfaction.”
That’s also from the book, and I mean it.
Coming Soon launches April 28, 2026. Pre-orders are open right now.
If you’ve been Googling this alone at midnight, this book was written for you. If you’re the partner who doesn’t know how to bring it up, it was written for you too.
You’re not broken. You’re responding. And responses can change.
